6-year-old J&K girl's adorable appeal to PM Modi over burden of classes and homework gets L-G's response | VIDEO

 A video of a Kashmiri girl complaining to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the burden of homework and classes on school kids has gone viral on social media.




In the video, which had over 3.69 lakh views at the time of publishing the story, the student introduces herself as a six-year-old girl. Comparing the burden of classes and homework on a student of her age to that of a senior students, she asks PM Modi to give her the reason for the same. Further she goes on to tell the PM that she attends back-to-back classes from 10am to 2pm which adds to the pile of homework.


Now, the video has even got a response from J&K Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Manoj Sinha.


J&K L-G tweeted, "Very adorable complaint. Have directed the school education department to come out with a policy within 48 hours to lighten burden of homework on school kids. Childhood innocence is gift of God and their days should be lively, full of joy and bliss."


So far, it is not known who this girl is and where she is based in the Kashmir valley.

In the past few months, many students have expressed concern and displeasure over the burden of daily homework and long online classes.


Recently, a six-year-old Kashmiri girl highlighted the same problem. But unlike others, she decided to raise the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a cute video that has gone massively viral

Aurangzeb Naqshbandi, a journalist, shared the video on Twitter on May 29. It currently has over 1 lakh views and more than 10,500 likes.


The journalist captioned it: "A six-year-old Kashmiri girl's complaint to @PMOIndia @narendramodi regarding long hours of online classes and too much of schoolwork."

In the short clip, the girl says she starts her classes at 10 AM and continues till 2 AM.


"There is English, mathematics, EVS and computer. There is so much work for kids. Why is there so much work for kids, Modi saab?" she says.


"What can be done? Assalamualaikum, Modi Sahab, Bye," she adds.


The clip has garnered replies from hundreds of netizens, including the J&K L-G who said the complaint was adorable.
