1. 18 વર્ષ કે તેથી વધારે ઉંમરની કોઈપણ નિરાધાર વિધવા મૃત્યુ પર્યંત લાભ મેળવી શકે છે.
2. national social assistance programme હેઠળ indira gandhi national widow pension scheme અંતર્ગત BPL લાભાર્થી જેમની 40 વર્ષથી વધારે વાય હોય તેવી વિધવા સ્ત્રીઓને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળી શકે છે.
3. ગુજરાત સરકારની નિરાધાર વિધવા પેન્શન યોજના અંતર્ગત લાભાર્થી જેમની ઉંમર 18 થી 40 વર્ષની વચ્ચે હોય તથા 40 થી વધુ વર્ષના BPL ન ધરાવતા હોય તેમને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળવાપાત્ર છે.
4. વિધવા સહાય મેળવવા માટે ગ્રામ્ય સ્તરે કુટુંબની વાર્ષિક આવક 1,20,000 તથા શહેરી વિસ્તાર માટે 1,50,000ની જોગવાઈ સરકાર દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી છે.

ગામ પંચાયત ખાતે VCE પાસેથી ડિજિટલ ગુજરાત પોર્ટલ પર ઓનલાઈન ફોર્મ ભરવાનું રહેશે.
1. સૌ પ્રથમ Vidhva Sahay Yojana Formની નકલ મેળવીને અરજી પર ગ્રામ પંચાયતના તલાટી પાસે સહી તથા સિક્કા કરાવીને VCEને આપવું.
2. ગ્રામ પંચાયતના VCE દ્વારા Digital Gujarat Portal પર ઓનલાઈન એંટ્રી કરવામાં આવશે.

- Certificates of educational qualification of the applicant.
- Genealogy of heirs of the deceased.
- Applicants in the age group of 18 to 30 years should undertake a face-to-face letter from Talatishri to join any government recognized trade training within a year.
- Certificate of Remarriage. (Performed in the presence of Talatishri in the month of July every year.)
- Example of an officer with appropriate powers with application if he has a son over 21 years of age but is physically disabled or mentally unstable, serving life imprisonment.
- The applicant must show the mark of identity on his body.
